... and I'm very glad I did. While I can make a decent sounding mix, there definitely is a noticeable difference between DIY and professional work. I learned a lot here through the years, but I never realized how many tricks up their sleeves people that do this day-by-day have. Plus, it is soooo much easier just being a musician and doing what you're told Not to mention another pair of ears that are usually better than musicians, and creative input that greatly improves the song. Anyway, here's the song, any input is appreciated: Guitars are Schecter Hellraiser C7 with 81-7 through various Kemper profiles (4 tracks) for rhythm, Ibanez 570DXQM with Dimarzio Andy Timmons for solo, and some additional layers in chorus with a custom Tele. Drums are Superior 2, a combination of Avatar and Staub SDX libraries.
