So this poll pretty much happens every year and I know we are missing the pre-party bands but from the announced line up which day are you most excited about Friday or Saturday? I'll be the first to vote Saturday but every band both days is a clear knock out. Only reason I voted Saturday is because my main draw this year is Spheric Universe Experience.
I don't think this one is even going to be close. For me, Sat has: The Mountain King Iced Earth with Barlow Serenity - Amazing debut. I'm really curious about Elvenking, Pathosray, Andromeda and Amorphis, but the established lineup works better for me on Saturday.
I would have put Friday, but Saturday, as said already, has the Mountain King and Barlow. hands down what i voted for.
Saturday - no brainer. After Jon Oliva and Matt Barlow are done with me, someone is going to have to carry me out.
Amorphis beats all the others. Plus Elvenking, Iron Savior and Andromeda Friday is way better for me, though SUE and Volbeat are also great to listen to.
I really wish I could say that I was excited for the fest at all but I am not. I am not even going to go this year and that really sucks but I just don't feel that its worth the $1200.00 plus that I would spend to go. I am really hoping that next year will be a knock out lineup for the 10th anniversary. I will truly shit if the pre show has some bands that I would die to see Bear
Although I've always wanted to see Iced Earth with Barlow I just can't vote against Andromeda, Riverside, and Amorphis all in one day!
Kinda difficult since I like about three bands from each night. I think Friday edges it out since it has Pathosray, Riverside, and I'm very curious about Andromeda live. However, Saturday has the Jon Oliva's Pain which is HUGE for me. SUE is another curiosity as is Volbeat considering the amazing buzz these guys are getting right now.
Friday. I think the nights are very balanced IMO. More so than the past few years. There's only one band each night that I'm not too excited about (for not being into them). But this will change until september, for sure.
I agree....in fact, I can't choose, so I'm not gonna vote. There's a whole lot of awesomeness spread out over both nights, IMO.
Saturday for me. Serenity's debut kicks some serious ass. The chance to catch Rob Rock, the Mountain King, and Volbeat. Awesome!!!!!!! I may have to change my mind to Thursday if Raintime gets the chance to come back.
