I need a ride John.
You're telling me. My clutch fan just fell out and the Mexican mechanics down the street told me I "don't need it."
If any of you were tapped to re-write the food parts to the script of 'American Psycho', you'd do just fine.
You really must be frustrated that Israel is NOT in Europe
While what you say is correct, you made an account just to say this?
I'm flattered my post made someone register and start an account! w00t!
...and while I didn't mean anything politically or geographically by my previous statement, often certain countries are being "grouped" into another group much like "europe" as a whole.
Israel, turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia etc.... are not members of the EU per-se, but a "part" of the whole group. They all play in the Euro Cup, sing songs in the Eurovision and play a role in some of the politics.
back to Okra.......
^ what an awesome picture!
ok I tried a new okra thing... I fried the okra crispy in olive oil and then made a spicy red sauce with garlic and crushed red pepper, added the okra and served over whole wheat rotini, with some fresh grated parmigiana reggiano cheese....it was AWESOME
Am I the only one here that thinks that okra tastes absolutely craptastic?
I was looking through an heirloom seed catalog I found laying around and saw this crazy okra!
I'd eat it.
I have never tried it.. Can you guys compair it to anything?
The taste is sweet and makes me think of a pepper but with no heat, and they're kinda slimy on the inside.
i dont even want to try that shit, everyone ive asked who's not from the south and has no southern relatives says its fuckin gross. i dont really like any squash anyway.
So kinda like bell peppers, only slightly less awesome?
It doesn't taste like anything I can think of, and it really depends on the way you cook it too.
Yes, the slight slimy texture turns a lot of people I know off of it... but it's really great!
neal, Im not from the south and I love it You really gotta know how to make it right though.
