Incredible games. Silent Hill 2 is incredible. It is easily one of the most terrifying video games I've ever played. The atmosphere in all of the games are untouchable. But Silent Hill 4: The Room is pretty fucking bland. Don't even bother wasting your money on that.
Whatever. I'll get this if I ever get a next-gen console. I find the games have been fun, but I'm extremely tired of society's gangster fetishization. I don't get it. People are like "I want to be a rebel and a total badass, but only in a framework where I'm completely subserviant to someone and there are still plenty of rules to follow."
I managed to get GTA IV on it´s releaseday without even pre-ordering it,lucky me. Haven´t played it yet but i have high expectations.
Yeah, gone are the days when only a few could say "damn it feels good to be a gangsta" Seriously though, what do you mean? Like, saying you want to rebel and then conforming to a "rebellious" group? I didn't mind the style. Although tbh, I stopped playing the missions pretty early on and just started terrorizing the city instead. It was fun to fuck with the city with a nig whose face was covered by a black bandanna.
Hopefully GTA IV comes out on comp, and soon...and hopefully it works with my comp but I doubt it. Of all the GTA games, I definitely had most fun with GTA III when it came out.
I just got an Xbox and GTA and so far I'm a bit disappointed too. The controls are quite sluggish and the Xbox controller in general is just horrible.
I still think it´s a bit unfair to judge a game as huge as gta from less than a days playing. It´s a damn big game to play through.
Hm, GTA 4 seems a bit different. Like there is a reason why things are the way they are, and the main character actually as a conscience. I like it for what it is. Which is a GTA game. And a better GTA game than VC and SA at that. You fail.
