No it's fucking not. Most interactive fiction games blow it out of the water.

That MK vid is awesome. I always really liked the MK characters and universe, even if the games didn't always live up to their potential. MK Deception was actually okay. I liked the story mode. An MK mmorpg might be decent someday.

Yep, the myths surrounding the MK characters, the setting and the locales were often more interesting than the one on one fighting(which was always lacking if you ask me), That is why I've enjoyed Shaolin Monks and the Konquest mode of the last MK title so much.

Wasn't part of Slayer's Behind the Crooked Cross(off South of Heaven) used as a music theme for some of the levels in Doom?
    Sounds quite like it.

I believe Trent Reznor was responsible for most of the soundtrack.

The soundtrack for the original Doom games was made by Bobby Prince. Trent Reznor made the soundtrack for the first Quake game and did an initial soundtrack for Doom 3 which was never used (and later poorly done by Chris Vrenna).

I remember one of the themes from a Doom level sounded a lot like the chorus riff from Metallica's 'No Remorse', not sure which game it was though. I bought Doom Trilogy (which consisted of Ultimate Doom, Doom II and some Master Levels disc that I never played) ages ago and I used to be hooked to it. Nowadays I usually play Resident Evil or Super Mario, though I've just become addicted to Castlevania.

My all time favourite game has to be Yoshi's Island for the SNES though. Had some good times with that game as a kid.

I only have Circle of the Moon on Game Boy Advance so far, but I'm looking to get another one of the portable ones soon. Any recommendations?
