So most of you keep up with blabbermouth, I'm assuming that most of you have heard about it, but aside from this being awesome in a really strange way....
    Apparently Hanneman had this......

That's nasty... He must have other health issues, because that is a very rare condition for someone in good health. Sucks for Jeff is right!

Good for Gary - most underrated thrash guitarist ever. That dude can fucking play.

Fuck, just googled images there. Nasty! Although, I'd fucking kill for HD footage of Holt playing with Slayer. Excellent guitarist and criminally overlooked. Easily the best of the first wave of Thrash bands.

I thought Kerry might choose his on-again buddy Robb Flynn, but Gary is a nice surprise. Jeff Waters would have been a great choice and good fit too.

Would love to see this but at the same time I'm hoping for Jeff to recover as quickly as possible. HE'S the dude that wrote "Raining Blood" and "Angel Of Death" after all.

Gonna see them next month, it'll be strange to see Slayer without Jeff, but maybe now the guitars will actually be tight to the drums for once, at least on one side of the stage.

And sucks for Jeff, hope he recovers soon and keeps kicking sloppy ass like only he knows how to

That's unusual. I've never seen a bad Slayer performance at any of the gigs I went to. Then again, I haven't seen them in 5 years.

Seen them twice, unimpressed both times. Although they were noticeably worse in 2010 than 2006 IMO
