I thought with a new label the days of rip-off Opeth cd's would be gone. That price has to be wrong.

Why preorder, its will be much more gratifying to wake up early on the 30th, go to a store when it opens and buy the cd right there imo.

My local cd store keeps marking things up on the releaseday to catch all the crazy fanboys that has to buy it on the first day, so I'll just get it in the mail.

Really? Mine (Hastings) usually has CD's down to about $12-$14 on the release day and a couple days after.

I don't have any CD's stores in my area for metal, unless Ghost Reveries will be sold at Wal-Mart which is a high possibility. Roadrunner does distribute to Wal-Mart for a lot of their bands.

^ i wouldn't be surprised, roadrunner is a huge record label and they seem to be pushing GR pretty hard imo - they are on the frontpage of their site
