    Hi there all!

    Hope you like blast beats.
Here's a video we shot during my bands drum recordings for our upcoming fifth album:

I'm recording, mixing and mastering the album.

    Hopefully you guys dig it.

That's a whole lot of talent, dedication and concentration for one person, which I really, really respect. Playing a complex, non-commercial music and doing it as a one-man project (if I'm not mistaken) is certainly an act of courage. Wishing you all the best!

There is actually a whole band of people in our group.
You are not the first to think that me and the drummer Kauko are the same person on those videos though :)
But thank you for the kind words. Playing this kind of music is a lot of work for sure.
Not to mention there is absolutely no money in this genre. But you have to do what you love.

    The singer definitely sounds awesome.

But I definitely hope those vocals are going to end up sound usable for you, because, yep, he's definitely cupping the mic.
    I would've hit the guy with a broomstick :D

A bit of a super long response time :) but anypoo...

I don't actually mind if the singer is cupping in the studio if it sounds good.
You'll have some weird stuff with the esses and whatnot, but the overall character gets more in your face and pissed off.
The trade off is sometimes well worth it.

Wouldn't want cupping on all growled vocals for sure, but sometimes it is just the ticket.

I'll usually just try it both ways and listen which sounds more fitting.
