    RYM ALBUMS LIST
    RYM EP LIST

    Reminder of the rules:
    - please submit at least *5* releases. But just remember, real men vote at 10.
    - first place in your rankings gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9, etcetc, 10th gets 1.
    - feel free to post more than 10, but only the top 10 will get points.
    - feel free to post less than 10, the same scoring will apply.
    - feel free not to rank your picks, in which case all ten picks will get 5.5 points.
    - if you're so much of a dick that you have to post more than 10 unranked picks, only the first 10 will count. In other words, go back to the third rule.

    Submit your lists by December.

After this it's 2012 and then we're done. We can still do the 1970's though.

Does Rev Biz' Return to the Rectory EP count as a 2011 release? It wasn't released separately until 2011, but was available as a bonus disc on the deluxe version of their first album prior.

I haven't listened to shit from this year, but I'll drop my hot take that Illud Divinum Insanus is among the best.

Pretty sure 2015 hasn't been done. There was this thread, but it wasn't tallied up or anything.

Ha, I'm a dipshit. I knew that thread existed but didn't bother to check if it was ever tallied. There you go, we still have 2012 and 2015.

I was wondering why this didn't show up in my friends' chart. Apparently it isn't even tagged as metal on RYM. Do people here think this qualifies as a metal album? Would definitely vote for it if so.

I just looked and noticed "avant-garde metal" as the last genre tag. Never considered it not metal, or any of their other stuff, really.

Alright, it'll probably make my list then. Never cared much for being a genre purist.
