The guitar/vocal part in the middle of The Tongue Of Fire is orgasmic. On the whole, a great album for me. I got into it pretty easy, although I really discovered how great the album was way after the initial listen, and way after getting into Anthems too. I really like the whole package...
@Zeanra: lol, forgotten tomb, they're from here (oh this phrase was dumb i know) finally someone else who likes dt lets fight the others!
This is an immensely powerful song! I just re-read the first three volumes of the Berserk-manga while listening to this song on repeat - huh! I have no words to describe the feeling. And now back to work on my graduation-thesis - a whooping three sentences written this far today... -Villain
Have...to...listen to...something that's not BE. *catchiness overload* Ok now I put that damn dot in the wrong place. Mumble-grumble.
I'm going through a period of listening exclusively to Viikate, Samael and Bruce Dickinson at the moment...
Viikate is certainly decidedly awesome as hell. I can't get over how awesome of an intro Alkusoitto is...and the whole Noutajan Valssi album is just amazing. As for the latest two albums, I've gotten a bit bored of them because of the more rock-orientated sound. Still great albums, with exceptionally great lyrics. *swoon*
@rahvin: no, I haven't because in theory it's not supposed to be out yet @Horseman: I wish I could understand the lyrics As it is I can't even sing along... but I definitely like their sound more and more, think I might actually have to buy an album soon
wondering about the inconsistency of bad religion records. first they put out an undisputed beauty, then they issue a record with one good song. there will be sorrow there will be sorrow there will be sorrow no more
Well don't worry I can't sing along either...unless the lyrics are right in front of me of course. The language and the style is that much old-fashioned that I can't really remember the lyrics that well. I know I love them nevertheless. Depressing stuff.
