But we all know there a law And that law, it is love And we all know there is a war Coming from above There is a war coming There is a war coming Woooah...I have no idea what he's singing about but it sounds so good. My latest purchase too, along with No More Shall We Part.
within my bones it resonates boiling blood will circulate could you tell me again what you did this for?
they did it better than the original, right? NP: Vintersorg - Visions From The Spiral Generator Villain: yeah the sound is not perfect, but it was nice to publish it on the homepage and I find it nice, too. Same as "Blood Of My Enemies" =)
Absolutely yes - and they play it even better live. Btw, have you heard this band before? With your fixation on all things Finnish I thought you might be interested in it. There are some old friends of mine playing on it... -Villain
they had it on the setlist, but had to end their gig two songs earlier because Mika´s hands were bleeding I wish I could have heard it, though, but they played other good songs instead. btw, you have not congratulated me yet on making Salamurhaaja a PO-fan, too I know their name, I also think I heard people mentioning them, but I don´t know how they sound. So I went to their homepage and found some mp3s and will check. I have no fixation Finnish btw. Quality is my first priority, it just happens that a large majority of quality-songs/bands comes from Finland, I can´t help it, and their music just matches my taste But recently I discovered a couple of "new" Swedish bands for me also.
have i no control? is my soul not mine? am i not just man, destiny defined? never to be ruled, nor held to heel not heaven or hell, just the land between am i not man, does my heart not bleed? no lord, no god, no hate, no pity, no pain, just me comprehend and countermand synchronous guidance, i choose my way never to be ruled, nor held to heel not heaven or hell, just the land between and am i not man? so why do i love when i still feel pain? when does it end, when is my work done? why am i lone, and why do i feel that i carry a sword through a battlefield? so why do i love when i still feel pain? when does it end, when is my work done? why do i fight, and why do i feel that i carry a sword, that i carry a sword? like the path to heaven or the road to hell our choice is our own, consequences bind we are the kings of wisdom, the fools as well we are the gods to many, we are humble men we who build great works just to break them down we who make our rules so we never fail and am i not man? so why do i love when i still feel pain? when does it end, when is my work done? why am i lone, and why do i feel that i carry a sword through a battlefield? so why do i love when i still feel pain? when does it end, when is my work done? why do i fight, and why do i feel that i carry a sword, that i carry a sword through a battlefield?
Oh yeah :hotjump: I do like the Midnight Oil cover too, but I am not sure if it's better than the original, I guess it's just the totally different singing style compared to the original. Nice to see you listening to Vintersorg
The point with the Midnight Oil-song is, that it is actually too slow, in both the original and the cover. The whole song could be better with a bit more drive, but you can´t accelerate the speed that much there even while covering, otherwise it would become completely different. But it is a good song, though. Vintersorg rocks! =)
I love this classic-epic-orchestral and instrumental only album. Gandalf rules, and I'm not talking about the magician exclusively...
Souza left/was fired from Exodus. Shame really, but if they keep making albums I don't see why they wouldn't be good even without him. When you exchanged your wedding vows Nobody said "you may now fist the bride" Now that the little woman went and got her gun The love ain't all that died
The very deepest of your wishes. Climb up high, take my hand. Tread carefully through these sickening angels. Look at your god. look at the way he stands. The uterine murderess dies herself. Let me show you all my pain. Sardonyx lays waste to your eyes and leaves you blind. Gone is the day. They that did feed, delicately. Feed on me. The call has come, from bird and beast. Insect and serpent, and all that lives in the sea. And cities of fire, rip through me. My life a widower sad. On your knees, smell your disease. If i live you will be sorry. I have a thousand forms. Uninjured by your tongue. I'm working to ensnare you. Couple your name with cruelty. The mother of dying children. My hatred is unnumbered. It rises in my breast. We've lived with our suffering. But now...?
