Greatest description of a band's sound...

    Of all the review sites I read, I find Angry Metal Guy is likely my favorite for reviews. They recently awarded their "Album of the Month" for June, and it went to a band called Darkest Era. Their latest disc, titled Severance, was described by saying, "... imagine Primordial‘s To the Nameless Dead and Atlantean Kodex in a head on collision, with Immortal hovering around the wreckage making funny faces and wrestling poses..."

    I gave it a spin for the first time last night. It made a really strong first impression.

    I love his site too. I've found a quite a few things I wouldn't have normally come across by reading his reviews. I'll have to check out your suggestion as it sounds interesting.
