Hello. I'm Nick and I'm new to UM forums. I've decided to get more involved with the Metal community; I've sheltered myself from it for so long that I have missed out on News and such (For instance, I just recently found out about Morbid Angel's newest album.. Disappointing.. I know). Anyways, I play guitar, piano and violin. I'm in bands like Autopsy (Newest album kicks ass), Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Ceberal Bore, Cannibal Corpse, Necrophagist, Obituary, Hail of Bullets, etc. I hope to become more involved and meet some fellow Metalheads!

Atheist is a great band! I saw them live a few years ago. My uncle knew the lead singer (Kelly) and the drummer (Steve), after the show we went back to their tour bus. Although, I'm not much into technical metal. I feel that a band which is too technical can take way from it's heaviness and brutalness (which I feel is the greatest priority of any death metal band), but I have great respect for those bands that can be technical but maintain the heaviness, such as Necrophagist. Very technical, and very heavy.
