    Hey all,

With the confirmation of instrumental avant-garde progrockers Guapo, we have found a very interesting replacement for Jadis, who had to cancel their show. Newly signed to the infamous Ipecac Recordings, Guapo just released their sixth album 'Black Oni', another complex and epic piece of work. Heady and hypnotic, driving and relentless, tumultuous and visceral, sonic and serene. Guapo mixes elements of prog, avant-garde jazz, kraut-rock, minimalism and a range of folk mediums from Britain to Indonesia, Influences include Magma, King Crimson, Boredoms, Goblin, Sun Ra, Charlemagne Palestine, Univers Zero, This Heat, Olivier Messiaen, Popol Vuh. The band's intense live show expands into a furious climax of telepathic instrumental interplay and extreme avant-noise. We said "very interesting", now didn't we?

In other words, they will :hotjump: rock!
