I think the drums sound a bit too loud, overpowering the guitars.
Maybe you record a quad track?
First time in my life I feel like quad-track is really worth it
btw, you're hell of creative with these riffs.
One of the best guitar riffs ever. It's fucking jawesome. Inb4 seeing you in Revolver magazine
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7033787/loomy2.mp3 Bit on the darker side. What do you think?
Guitars are too fizzy for me.
Yeah, I was really on the edge about that. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7033787/loomy4.mp3 What about now?
Thx man, Yeah quad track would sound awesome. Was too lazy..lol
Reamped through bx_rockrack. I'm surprised how well it worked for this kind of stuff. Used some free plugins, SHB-1 for bass & tubedriver with ts999 for the leads (just added a little bit of shreddiness to the rockrack sound, not a lot like with other guitar amp sims). Some very basic EQing and effects. Steven Slate drums (a hybrid of the Dream Theater and Metallica kits I made).

My mix and reamp.
Well here's my stab at the reamping and mix!
I used a HK Triamp MKII and tubescreamer. Bass is using the SansAmp plugin and drums are SD2. Can't wait to take on the next one!
Thanks to Incarnated!
Holy pumping balls!
This is my try..
LOL, thats why I'll never use the FG-X comp again.
My ears got lost on this mix
I know right? What's up with the fg-x comp sounding pumpy? I can't use it either because even getting 1db or gr with slow attack and fast release sound pumpy sometimes it's so weird. That being said I still love fg-x

My attempt. Awesome playing dude, tight as balls.
