wow... don't think I saw Porcupine tree as a band with to many solos but if there is one guy capable of putting that in and make it tasteful and melodic it would be Guthrie. Awesome sauce...

I have to say I was pretty surprised , but I am glad he is getting involved in musical activities outside of real muso stuff . I think he is conscious of this as well and does not want his legacy to be one of just niche guitar albums . I am now not sure if its all of Steve Wilsons stuff he is doing (may or may not be P Tree as well)

Awesome on all new members, though yes, Harrison was the man too - I just hope this means we won't ever have to hear Steven Wilson solo again :loco:

didn't Guthrie only join Steven Wilsons solo band? This is the exact same line-up, besides Guthrie,
that Wilson had for his solo band...

When I posted Porcupine Tree it was because I read a statement from the manager of The Aristocrats in response to a question about Guthrie working with Wilson including P Tree , now I am not so sure . May just be his solo project .

I think it's for Steven Wilson solo band. The whole lineup in that video is different from porcupine tree!
