  1. Just a heads up... In the next week or two we will be making some major upgrades to the site to bring the software and server fully up to date. While the upgrade happens the site will be offline for the day. There will be some quirkiness after the upgrade, but we'll get it all sorted out.

I could give you some bands, but your not going to find them in any store you would have to order this music directly from the bands.

but here is some stuff you might be able to find.

    Emperor
    Immortal
    Venom
    Rotting Crist
    Bathory
    Old Mans Child
    Satyricon

    Mare - s/t - Dissonant experimental doom
Meshuggah - Chaosphere - easily the most intense album I've ever heard
Novembre - Novembrine Waltz - lush metal that's more beautiful than heavy
Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye - extremely weird fusion of chamber music, jazz, and metal
Rwake - Hell is a Door to the Sun - heavy as fuck sludge, but with more traditional metal influence than many sludge bands
Mercenary - 11 Dreams - this is one of the best melodic metal albums I've ever heard

Well...I can suggest you my band, try do download something from our website www.theprowlers.com ;-)
My friends Novembre (as already suggested by other Members) are a great Doom band!
Then, one of my favourite bands: Angra. "Holy Land", "Rebirth" and "Temple of Shadows" are great albums!
Check also out some Sonata Artica album!!

Grindcore will automatically increase your metallness 200%. Although from the bands you listed doesn't seem like you're into that, so October Tide might be worth checking out.... Rain Without End is a great album
