Hey everyone…I remember there was a Hammerfall "Hearts on Fire" mix competition or something going on 2006 or so and you could download the individual files/stems.

I can't find any link though, does someone still have those files or can point me to a download link?

    cheers

    L

Is it just me or are the drums really badly recorded? particularly the toms are indistinguishable from the bleed and sound like the mics were pretty far from the shells.

By the way, does the Pro Tools session feature any kind of editing, or is it just the tracks laid out?

Thats why I used the Midi from a very good Tab. :)

If anyone also wants to use MIDI instead. Here is the the one I used and humanized.

Thanks for the tracks, it's cool to see some heavy metal around here!
Here's my version, not final though, there are automations left to do and add toms as they are quite unusable, but apart from them no samples!
I wanted a really old school vibe, 80's like with a fuckton of reverb/delay, trying to keep in audible, I think it worked pretty well!

The raw studio vocals sound whiny.
