hahahaha hi guys I'm in Alkmaar, Holland at the moment and having a ball. Wacken was fantastic (apart from about 4am-5am on the last night, but everyone's already mentioned that) and I certainly met some cool people and saw some ridiculously good bands! Driving to and from Wacken was an experience...I didn't realise they drive on the right hand side of the road here in Europe and so was caught VERY off-guard. But I still managed to get up to 170km/hr on the autobahn before everyone else in the car decided they fancied life, haha. Big cheers to TY, Pete, Watto & Loxie - nothing like good times overseas with the same people I get pissed with in Sydney!! hahaha!! also the SWEDEN ROCK TENT!! If I hadn't seen any bands but just stayed there raging on for 4 days, I still would've considered it to be my money's worth (thankfully though, I didn't). I can't think of all the bands I saw off the top of my head right now, (thankfully I have it written down somewhere) but some of the highlights were DESTRUCTION + tom angelripper, blitz, dude from Rage and all their ex-members on stage at once, Sacred Reich, Napalm Death (shit music but Barney's between-song banter made it ALL worth it), Amorphis, Blind Guardian, Moonsorrow, Enslaved, god I'm forgetting them all. I think I saw around 6 bands each night, so definitely got my 99 euros worth. But enough of that! Also, the beer prices here in Europe are so good!! Today we actually MADE 50c on a carton!! Bought it yesterday for $3.50, then today took it back and got a $3.90 refund on the empty bottles!!! and the beer actually tasted really good!! What's really amazing is that for all their lax alcohol laws, Europe seems to have little to none of the alcohol-related problems that Australia does. I've got a few ideas why, but I'd be here all day and I'm rambling enough as is. Anyway I smell dinner! The people we're staying with are as friendly as it gets! mad propz to them!! ok guys stay true to metal and remember: MORE BEER, LESS TIME!!

Mate when I get back I'm opening a late-night food outlet that sells nothing but bratwurst, currywurst, sauerkraut(sp?) and krokets. Plus beer if the shitty Australian laws will let me sell cans for 30c each or something.

There was so damn many missed photo and video opps, damn beign extremely drunk. Like the time we started drinking at 6am, invaded someones camp site because they had a couch or two. Them a Aussie bloke named chinch? I think abused everyone walking by, by yelling out keep your gothic dress out of my metal. Keep your fringe out of my metal fuck off, it was pretty slack but oh so extremely funny MORE BIER LESS TIME
He's a nut hahaha. I feel really bad for going back and taking that carton away from the Sweden Rock tent so me and Watto could get trashed at 7am the last morning.
