Can't say "happy". I'd say talking to strangers is not something I'd do on eveverwhim, but I find it pretty easy to do since I'm not too attached on making an impression,just talking naturally according to the mood of the moment, ergo, I don't feel stressed about it.
It used to be cool...now, bums just ask you for money and cigarettes. Making eye contact now is a dice-roll...
It depends on the moment, place, mood, and the person. I overall am pretty open to talking with strangers, since I love meeting new people. I fly a lot, and I've found that picking up a newspaper and doing the crossword with whoever is next to you works wonders. online ? yes offline ? not quite talking to strangers can make new friends, build relationships but sometimes I just want to stay alone, I feel more comfortable in that way
I agree with jrobel. I'm easily can talk to strangers online, but I'm not so good at real life relationship
I don't do well actually being around people, but onlines different, i dont do facebook or anything like that, but I think sites like this might make it easier for connecting with like-minded people
