Has anyone ever been pissed off about this?

    I agree for the most part. I like some Tool stuff (Parabola, Vicarious), but a lot of their music is too drawn out and boring to me. I also never liked Meshuggah, due to an overwhelming lack of melody.

    I was never bothered by that, being a guitarist and knowing a thing or two about drums, I have always been very, very interested and blown away in the time signatures they use, and poly rhythms and so forth. I really respect Thordendal and Haake, very talented musicians. Of course, to each his own!

    Yeah, I've read you explain this before, i just thought it was funny you how patient you must be to put up with all the morons on UM, of course it couldn't all be done on this board, no one is that patient. And Tool are not bad, but certainly not great iyam, wtf at Meshuggah sucking?

    you guys will whine about anything. Would you rather that band directly rip off one of opeth's clean/acoustic passages?

    I read in a magazine's review of Watershed that Opeth is for fans of Tool and Gojira. The Tool comparison I have to stretch for, but Gojira?? Soooo many dumb asses out there
