They're still around... Everyday life and jobs seem to be getting in the way of their side job (Enchant). Ted released a solo CD a while back that was VERY good... Talk of a Xen reunion of sorts... Ed will probably chime in soon. He is the most vocal band member on this board. On a side note: Am I the only drummer that would LOVE to see Ed Platt and John Myung have a dualing bass solo? Probably!
Hell yes -- but I'd hope they'd do this at the same time!! What a classic moment -- I'm so glad I caught that! In case it's not obvious, Doug was ramming into Ed, practically knocking him over, but Ed stood his ground and got a few nudges of his own in. Kind of a reverse Tug of War -- pun intended!
Sweet pic. Is that from the Live at Last show or another one? I wish I could have gone to that show. Thank God we have the DVD.
That was the show in March 2007 in Santa Clara -- I believe it was the first live show they had played since the day of the DVD taping.
Yeah, I bet it's part of their usual stage antics...kinda of like Lynyrd Skynyrd or .38 Special where the guitar players all line up on stage and head bang in unison.
That's some sane advice there... John Myung is known to football tackle people on stage from time to time.
LaBrie didn't even see it coming! Myung was only trying to win a bet, but that just shows he got a wild streak in him...
