Hey. i have some option for new head and i am quie baffled about it. i have a powerball and a peavey classic 50. i was planing to sell the peavey and buy a 6550+ or jcm 800 kerry king for 800 bucks. used. now thus guy offers me to trade my powerball + 600 usd fot his davage 120. i knoe the powerball hate here. but for the same price isnt it better to get a 6550 and keep the pb and get a flavour if sounds?
I play in flames/ trivium/ machine head stuff. i am tuned to drop b. i am more consisering the 6505. but, is it worth getting the savage or instead get the 6505+ and the powerball ( which i already have)
I vote for a 5150/6505 used for about $500-700, $800 is on the high end of the price spectrum. I would avoid the 5150II/6505+ if you have the option.
the only option i have now is the 6505+ which he is selling for 800$. (new one here costs 1800 $). i will try though to lower the price. why would you avoid the 6505+?
ok, i was mistaken. its the 6505. its quite new and the guy wants 1100$ for it. i have an option of adding some cash and trade my powerball for the savage 120.
