New Neurosis, this album has been slept on because it takes a 100 listens to fully appreciate.

    last 8 weeks, eh?

I have. To say that it takes a 100 listens to appreciate it is absurd. It isn't anything complicated in any way. It's the same shit they have been spewing for the past 3 albums. *yawn*

I found it to be rather "heh", until I actually spun it daily for a couple weeks. Unlike "Given...", which is by large mediocre no matter how much one lends an ear to. Different strokes bruh.

No genre limitations, by definite availability limitations.

Went to the old record store, found nothing but mediocre bullshit.

    Pfft.

A couple of NADs recos would probably have been attainable, were they only mentioned within the given time frame.

It took me two. In spite of a definitely more laid-back, even tired feel, this album has no cause to be envious of the rest of their production.
