    I think it has to do with states beginning with "New". I know some New Yorkers who feel the same way. I live in New Hampshire and know a few people who feel the same way still. Especially people, like myself, who are from the land of competancy and courtesy; Massachusetts.

    at least theres some metalheads and decent shows in new york. i know like 2 in jersey and the only real venue is getting shut down. so sad.
