Suicide Bomber has a few parts that sound like they'd be on FtR- especially 1:09 to 1:28. Pretty cool. The mix on the lead guitar and the keyboard lead on HB/FtR was so good as you could hear both without one overpowering the other but the keys & rhythm seem to drown out the lead a bit with the past few albums when it comes to melodies. Still sounds good though
Yes, it is. The Everytime I Die Cover is exclusiv to this mag. That's why Amorphis didn't released it with their regular record.
Thanks! Black Winter Day very cool out! original I do not like. Well, about Every Time I Die I can not say the same. Generally Amorphis we beat this song well. Vocals in my opinion, to get interesting, I love the voice of Tomi, but this track sound really shit. Live tracks both groups marked as successful.
I guess Alexi played with Tomi Joutsen(singer of Amorphis) "which band can do the worse cover". I'd say they lost both. hahahahahaha
IMO both covers are excellent. I love the vocals in Every Time I Die. But again, Amorphis is one of my favourite bands.
Wow, BWD cover isn't bad at all, yes it's strange with Alexi's vocals, but I especially like the -in the original- "clean" vocal parts, there Alexi made an excellent mixture of his clean and distorted vocals, imo.
Suicide Bomber is pretty good. I really enjoy the keys, parts of the song sound like Norhtern Comfort to me. It doesn't get my blood boiling like I Hurt does I can't help but want to shout that chorus every time it comes around
I enjoyed that EID cover. The did a good job and added a cool Amorphis touch. BWD wasn't such a good choice really. I would have picked Drowned Maid.
Of ETID cover, that's also not bad, yeah, the vocals strange here too, but otherwise it's good. Alexi made guest-vocal appearance in his own song? :O Drowned Maid is more simple song than BWD, imo.
Could someone write down the lyrics of iHurt?, there are a few passages in the video i couldn't read nor identify.
BTW, I guess, the next few days the album will be leaked, I mean we have now 5 tracks released which is almost the half of the album.
