if i buy bloodbath what type of music am i expecting?

    hi guys, ive been into opeth for a long time.. but ive never really

    used the internet and suddenly i see that mikael has a kinda side

    project happening called "bloodbath".


    what do they sound like?

    they are along the lines of classic swedish death metal a la early Entombed, Grave, etc....expect buzzsaw guitars aplenty!

    I consider the EP to just be extreme melodic death metal. I dunno what the LP will sound like.

    I almost bought their first one recently, but it was 9 bucks for three songs and I wasn't sure how long a band like that could make 3 songs last, so I decided not to. When's the new one come out?
