This should clear all those thoughts up for you.
Wow is that really John? Sadly, I have had no desire to get the newest album from them (haven't even heard a track from it). They kinda lost me on the last couple albums.
The expression is priceless.
At least his nu-metal is a billion times more complex than pretty much all the other nu-metal.
Progressive mallcore is still mallcore. They should stick to covering other people's albums and write a whole album like "Pull Me Under."
There's a bit that's somewhat funny, but not quite the ooomph I needed for the thread starter.
Creo que te está afectando demasiado el cambio. Buscaré, a ver si encuenro algo divertido
Apparently no one in this thread has even LISTENED the new album.
But I guess its always easier to just make ASSumptions.
eheheheh i see what you did there
Don't worry, your Spanish was definitely more clever.
I've heard it, btw. It sucks. Dream Theater has made a career out of sucking.
Sorry our views differ there. I preordered the album, downloaded it when it leaked, and have it. I also reviewed it.
DT have always been trendy dressers, though. Does anyone here own Images and Words? Check the liner notes.
Yep yep. That image is a lot better though.
I think it's their best in a long time. They don't really go too over-the-top like on the past few, it's pretty much a straight forward progressive album.
BTW, Under A Glass Moon.
I don't see anything progressive about it. However, after this "revelation" with Octavarium I noticed that Dream Theater haven't really been progressive since Liquid Tension Experiment.
They defined "prog" metal, and by now I hate them for it.
I really don't give a flying fuck what kind of clothes he's wearing. Octavarium is almost completely devoid of any nu-metal bullshit, and easily on par with the band's best work. The title track is probably the most prog thing theyve done.
