And that $8.95 will buy a lossless ALAC (Apple) or FLAC (open source) encoding!

Wow, nice stuff! I love this kind of thing, and it has literally been years since I've discovered a new band that plays this kind of dark, depressive metal! It's so hard to find a band that hits the sweet spot for melody, heaviness, and atmosphere the way Katatonia does.

That is SWEET! I found it on eMusic for like $4, but I ended up paying the $9 through Bandcamp as I wanted a full FLAC lossless copy. This really does sound awesome!

I would prefer the CD with full packaging, so will get one instead of the digital download. But I have listened to the entire album twice now (it is on youtube) and am duly impressed. It will go into heavy rotation...

    Hey guys,

Thanks for all the positive feedback on the album! We just signed on with intromental, so looks like good things are coming our way. Let me know if you have any questions about the music, lyrics, etc.

    Best,

    Josh

I know Riverside and Katatonia was mentioned, but for me, it reminds me a lot of Appearance of Nothing. But better, and I really like Appearance of Nothing. So far, this has been my favorite chill album. I'm betting this will make a lot of people's top 10 for the year if they give it a listen.
