I heard the lineups for beer and food were fucking horrendous at this year's festival.

Apparently it got better as the tour went on though, the first few states were terrible and then they slowly got themselves sorted out by the end. So I've read on a few forums anyway. And they have said on their website that they're improving that sort of thing with more food stalls, more exits and all that shizzle. So I've got my fingers crossed that it won't be too bad.

The organisation has been poor both times its been in Sydney, but if they can get it right it'll be a great festival.

Also LOL at the person preferring to see generic Metalcore like In This Moment over Alice In Chains. And yes, Sonic Sydicate are awful.

Don't know too much about these "All Tomorrow's Parties" festivals, but the xmas one in the UK this year has some good stuff indeed (eg Fantomas, Mastodon, Isis).

So I'll be checking out the site midnight on Tuesday when the full lineup is announced to see what the Australian festival has to offer.

Interesting, never heard of them before but I see various awesome bands listed for their other gigs on their Myspace.

Apparently the Victorian ALL TOMORROW'S PARTIES festival is going to be held at Mount Buller, and headlined by NICK CAVE.

Grave are already confirmed to play in Brisbane in December with Vomitor and a few others at The Globe of all places. Sounds like it will be an awesome gig!

(I'll post the info once the Brismetal.com forum starts working again)

Saw Testament last night. Bought a ticket in the afternoon, which was just as well, because it was sold out by the time I got to the HiFi Bar. The place was 'king packed and the crowd went orf. Great show, so I recommend you people in other cities go along. :headbang:

I walked past there last night on my way to see Bill Bailey live, and realised I must've missed out on seeing Testament again when a flock of dudes in Testament shirts were outside the HiFi Bar.

I did, but I thought it was in October for some reason. I was going to rock up if I had some spare cash at the time, I just thought it was October 2nd for some reason. Sounds like it was a good night, glad you enjoyed it!

About a million bands are coming in October, so I can understand the confusion! How was Bill Bailey?
