I do... but it's actually been a customer in Melbourne that's been getting me up early :)

Anyone have any clue how ticket sales have gone for the show tonight? I'm thinking if I do decide to go, it'll be very last minute. Hoping to just buy a ticket at the door

Hmmm not sure CT. When Red was lining up for the Melbourne gig last night she said there was 64 tixx left for that one.

Not that that helps you much :p

Looks like the gig tonite is sold out :(

Surely if CT went and said "Let me in, I'm friends with Lord Tim!" that would work, right?

    :D

I thought I saw you there Todd. Fucking awesome gig. Block was great. I think it's kind of ironic that Schaffer writes songs about proletariat revolutions but wears a Confederate flag as a bandana.

Yeah I managed to nab a spot dead centre of the venue. I left as soon as the show finished to avoid traffic :)

The band looked like they enjoyed the show, so can only hope that they'll make good on their promise to come back

Heh, Jon is an enigma wrapped in a yankee :D

That was a fucking killer show and Stu is the perfect fit since he can do pretty much the whole catalogue, plus he's a funny cunt too.

I'm so rooted though, still awake after 32hrs with no real sleep, just a short kip like a hobo on a bench in Hyde Park waiting for Museum station to open. I should sleep soon I think. :s

What is the capacity of the Hifi Bar in Sydney?

Judging from that photo Andy put up on facebook, it looks pretty swank.

The crowd was about 800. And even though it was better than when I went to see Mastodon there, I'm still not a fan of the place.

The max is about 1300 if you open it all up, but it was over 800 on the floor section I'm told.

Does anyone here happen to like Redd Kross? They're touring this month.

If they were playing Canberra I'd probably go but I'm not driving to Sydney for them.

Home from Amon Amarth. Was a fucking massive gig. Good supports, and AA played for nearly 2 hours (on at about 10.15, finished around 5 past midnight with a two song encore).

HUGE crowd - Hifi was PACKED (See what happens when you bring GOOD metal bands to Brisbane? *glares at a certain promoter who didn't bring a certain un-named band whose name rhymes with miced mirth to Brisbane partly due to Children of Bottom getting a shit turnout in Brisbane last time*) Yeah I'm not bitter :p

Anyway it was a fantastic gig (apart from when the lead singer had to go off stage to throw up..."airline food" LOL!)

Got War of the Gods and The Hero on video which I'll upload to youtube in the morning.
