No bands that I would want to see, that haven't been here already, would really fit the whole 'big and people will lose their minds' aspect.

    Within Temptation and Accept, mmmmaaaaybeeeeee.

    How about Dethklok?

    They've been here before.

Ozzy said himself the worst sunburn he ever had was in Aus. (possibly W.A. if memory serves correct).

He was with Sabbath waiting for his plane in a singlet and was only in the sun for around 20 minutes.

Apparently the announcement for this "ridiculously epic" tour will be made in around half an hour.

In other news, AJ has stated that:

“the next 9 to 10 months are going to be the greatest ever witnessed by Aus metalheads… [with] so many great tours coming up and not just by SWT”.

    COOL \m/

Anwar, it better be Within Temptation, Tyr, Sabaton, Nightwish or Epica otherwise I'm revoking your right to use the term "Big tour news"

Nightwish are confirmed for early next year with Amorphis as part of their Imaginarium world tour.
They just haven't put out proper dates yet, annoyingly enough.

should be the case since both bands were hyping the world tour and the change to get Amorphis down to Oz online not so long ago.

Let us hope it still will be the case because am more keen to see them than Nightwish (because have seen them already).

Saw Amorphis supporting Nightwish in LA earlier this year, before going on the 70000 Tons cruise and seeing both bands another 2 times each.

    They were really really good.

Marco from Nightwish even joined Amorphis on stage during their second set and sang a couple of their songs with 'em.
