Nice, I should be able to time a visit to Aussie with that tour! I'm already doing the same for... English Dogs Fri 22 Feb - The REVERENCE HOTEL (Footscray, VIC) Thu 28 Feb - BENDIGO HOTEL (Collingwood, VIC) Sat 2 Mar - THE VALVE BAR & VENUE (Tempe, NSW) Sun 3 Mar - PRINCE of WALES HOTEL (Nundah, QLD) http://www.facebook.com/events/123203207839399/
I really enjoyed seeing Sabaton on Friday night, who were supporting Nightwish. I think I was more looking forward to seeing them than I was Nightwish. They are playing in Melbourne tonight if anyone from Melbourne didn't know they were here and are interested (and if there are still tickets available).
Melbourne headline Sabaton show was INSANE! And the show last night was pretty good too!!!! Sucked having to come back to Brisbane and miss tonight's show

And from Loud Online: "Promoter" Javi of Oceanic Sharks has made no comment about Tägtgren's allegations, but given the way he handled the Warbringer tour last year, this turn of events is none too surprising. What's the go with people like this?!
Winmar - the band play traditional irish folk instruments, doing covers of punk stuff from the 70s/80s. Not a 'joke' thing - they play in a serious fashion. Troy is incredibly talented and I believe the other band members are not too shabby also. I think it will make a pretty entertaining night out.
YE GODS OF METAL II Lord. Alpine Fault. Awaken Solace. Orpheus. Before Nightfall. And a whole heap of others. $25. And its walking distance from my house!! http://tickets.oztix.com.au/?Event=...OzTix&utm_content=GigGuide&utm_term=YE+GODS__

appears BOC will be returning to Oz after fuck knows how long. Not many dates and seemed to have slipped under the radar a bit, maybe focusing on older fans who are more cashed up. thanks to Gore for originally losing his 'nana over this on FB. http://www.blueoystercult.com/Road/OnTour.html
Rumour is that a new Tool album is indeed on the way! Tickets will be from $105-$135 Not sure if I'll make it, as its the day after Adrian Edmonston and the Bad Shepherds but will try.
MUNICIPAL WASTE will be touring in June. Dates to be announced later this month. Also the EXTREME tour has been "postponed" due to "scheduling conflicts".
I contacted the promo company to confirm the tour with no reply. No press release has been released. I get the impression this tour will flop.
