I saw Fear Factory the other day and think the only other band I'll go see of the ones already announced is The Cult. I hear about him often enough to assume he's popular here as well. Teenage girls here are into the same shit as in the US.
Soundwave Touring are going to announce the first headline tour of Australia of a "hard and fast European band" today. So, given that it "first headline tour" I'm guessing its gonna be a band that has done Soundwave previously. Gojira? Watain? Dimmu?
