I'm seeing The Darkness in April, and maybe Marduk/Gorguts in March. There's also Windhand/Cough and Brant Bjork to consider.

Though my upcoming calendar seems to be dominated by Aussie bands coming over to NZ, including Psycroptic and freakin' Cosmic Psychos!

    Its quiet here isn't it?

I'm in Trumpland at the moment, having just got off the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise earlier today.

A few rumours out of that.

HELLOWEEN aka "Pumpkins Reunited" - Solid chance that will hit Australia this year.

KAMELOT - dont be surprised to hear about a tour before the end of the year (but it will not be part of the Haven touring cycle).

AMARANTHE - may be a tour before the end of the year (lead singer told me that, but they've said that several times before).

RHAPSODY REUNION - .... nothing on that sadly :( Wanted to ask Fabio about it (as he was on the boat as singer for Angra) but did not get a chance.

Ok, so it was worth going to GnR. I've waited 9122 days to see November Rain live and it was great :D

Are The Darkness touring? That one had escaped my attention!

Woohoo GnR! What were the highlights for you? I'm going on the 14th.

I'd be pumped if that Helloween tour came here. Pumped! What were the highlights of the cruise? Are you in Florida?

Highlight for me was pretty much that Axl didn't suck and his voice sounds pretty good at the moment. Lowlight was no Don't Cry :(

Back now :) but spent time in Miami before and after the cruise, then Vegas, Arizona and finally San Francisco.

Highlights of the cruise for me were probably Amaranthe and Orden Ogan. Both SO much fun live.

You're a jetsetter! Did you stay in downtown Miami or at the beach? Where'd you stay in Vegas? Half your luck!

Prior to the cruise stayed at South Beach for a few days as that was where all the pre-cruise parties were happening, then after the cruise stayed a day in downtown miami just to recover.

When we got to vegas just stayed the night at the Paris Las Vegas Casino. Interesting but certainly not anywhere I'd voluntarily return to :p
