I'm still trying to figure out how that Accept show can be financially viable. 1,000 tickets only - $80 a ticket, $200 for VIP. Assuming 20 VIP that would be $84,000 ticket sales. Getting 5 band members, plus at least a couple of crew, and all their gear to Australia, accommodation, transport, food, venue booking, plus all the promoter costs..
QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT! Feb/March 2018 http://www.metalobsession.net/2017/06/14/queen-adam-lambert-touring-australia-in-2018/
Looks like it's part of a tour including an LA date and then Japan so that would help spread costs. They're obviously flying economy though.
Legend Voices of Rock - Joe Lyn Turner (Rainbow/Deep Purple) Bobby Kimball (Toto), Mark Gable Choirboys) http://www.eatonshillhotel.com.au/event/legend-voices-rock/ Can anyone evisage them selling many tickets at $100+ each? All I can see is this getting cancelled

I find the lack of power/symphonic international bands touring Australia very depressing My wallet says thanks, my heart is sad
It's more thrash bands I want! I take what I can get from whatever's trending though... I've seen dozens and dozens of stoner/doom bands, haha.
That's a lot of bands touring! The main band i want to see that I haven't yet is Within Temptation. I'm not holding my breath though.
Glenn Hughes performs Deep Purple: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/gl...e-songs-on-tour-of-australia-and-new-zealand/ Sep. 20 - State Theatre - Sydney, Australia Sep. 24 - Perth Concert Hall - Perth, Australia Sep. 26 - Horncastle Arena - Christchurch, New Zealand Sep. 27 - Michael Fowler Centre - Wellington, New Zealand Sep. 29 - Hamer Hall - Melbourne, Australia Oct. 01 - Qpac Concert Hall - Brisbane, Australia Oct. 03 - ASB Theatre, Aotea Centre - Auckland, New Zealand
THIS. Sooooooo much this. Although I don't love them nearly as much now as say 5 or 10 years ago I would still following them everywhere if they came to Australia. REGARDLESS of whether I could afford to or not Promoter friends have tried to get them here previously - but apparently they want to play arenas and they are not gonna fill arenas here.
