They may have filled The Arena ( :p ) 5/10yrs ago, but probably not now. I too would like to cross them off my List.

I'll definitely be trying to see Redd Kross again. I first saw them in 1994 or thereabouts.

Perhaps Within Temptation should do a joint tour with Nightwish or something? They could possibly play pretty decent sized venues then. The trouble is that they're really not very well known in Australia. I need to move to Europe.

Still wouldn't be arenas. The biggest show Nightwish did in Sydney was 2600 people with us supporting. Great show and packed venue but it would be a big mistake kicking it up to something like The Hordern.

They certainly have a fan base here - last couple of albums have got into the Australia top 30!

But yes as Bloopy said - they could fill "The Arena" in Brisbane, but not arena-size venues.

And pairing with Nightwish? Wouldn't help much as you would just get a similar size crowd. Would be better off doing a joint tour with a band that attracts a different crowd.

My first thought was that I'd check something like that out once just to see how crappy the future's going to be. But that video makes it look even more dull than I imagined. Maybe with more of a light show and a screen behind it wouldn't be so bad.

I had good fun at Anvil in 2014, though it's hard to imagine any metal band from the 70s wouldn't be fun!
