That's a rather significant announcement! It's just a shame that the shows are midweek.

Thirroul is between Sydney and the 'Gong. Interesting choice of venue considering the other ones are capital cities. Palais has a capacity of just under 3000 no idea what a venue out of the burbs would hold but it's an interesting get for a small venue.

Basically North Wollongong, more or less. Nice area, and Anita's is putting on a lot of fairly big shows lately.

I've seen a couple of shows at Anitas Theatre. It's a nice venue big stage (although the seating map is a little misleading.they have upper stalls/balcony and boxes but it is really all on one level with seats at the back slightly higher...not actually a balcony) I think it holds around 1000 people

Also, apparently Ripper Owens is at Frankies Pizza in Sydney on saturday night for a set of metal covers

It's amazing how bands like that keep going. They achieved moderate success in the 80s and my main memory of them then is some teenager riding around my suburb with their t-shirt on. Now they're touring Australia in 2018.

I know right? So many other bands never make it here , yet a sleaze band from the 80s that had a minor hit with a cover of You're So Vain 30 years ago does? hmmmm
