On board experience was awesome as always! The lead up was a bit of a mess this time around though. The organiser apparently had 'issues' which lead to bookings, and band announcements, not starting until much later in the year than usual.

    Top 5 band highlights:

KISSIN' DYNAMITE - wasn't too familiar with them beforehand but oh my god they are great entertainers!
EPICA - Design Your Universe anniversary set was fantastic
ARCHON ANGEL - Zak (Savatage) Stephens' new band. New stuff was great and he played some (REALLY!) old Savatage too
BLOODBOUND - bucketlist band of mine and they did not disappoint. Phenomenal live.
WINTERSUN - immaculate live, as always

A lot of those FAITH NO MORE dates clash with dates on the TYR/ARKONA tour.

Organiser of TYR/ARKONA is attempting a date reshuffle.

Will deffo try to see both of those bands. It's good of the promoter to rearrange things so Tyr/Arkona members can also go see FNM! ;)

Busy time for tours here. I finally know which city I'll be in late Feb/early Mar so I had a little ticket spending spree yesterday. Gonna see Okilly Dokilly, Kikagaku Moyo, Sacred Reich/Vio-Lence and Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats. Plus 2 Aussie bands (Witchskull and Potion) are playing the day in between those last two, so I'll get a ticket to that later.

After I get back to Wellington, one of my friends is supporting The Exploited so I should probably see them too.

Yeah I'd love to go nuts but flat broke thanks to 70000 Tons!

In a perfect world I'd hit up Alice, Quireboys, whitesnake, iron maidens, iron maiden, FNM.

As it is of everything announced so far the only must-get is TYR/ARKONA.
