No really now...What you're referring to NineFeetUnderground is probably hyperblasting which is when the kick pedal is going slow and hitting at every 8th snare hit(or something like that). Blast beating has actually evolved from punk beats into typical thrash metal beats(used on old school death metal). It involves mainly snapwrist action on both the snare and the ride/hihat and is usually fast(which is why they call it blast beating). The bass pedals are usually going at the same speed that the hihat/ride is being hit.
