Ok, here we go. Starting with the oldest first. It was in the late 2000 my old band recorded this in the studio at a school. We didn't mix it though, some student the bass player knew did. We only played our instrument but it's pretty embarrassing anyway. One thing I do remember is that we wasn't happy with the end result. http://www.netmusicians.org/files/70-only4theweak.mp3 In the same studio we recorded this, don't ask me why. http://www.netmusicians.org/files/40-mfrm.mp3
wow, some of your guys' early stuff is better than what I can pull now! I lost all my really old stuff when I FIRST started recording direct into my computers Line In using Windows Media Player and then eventually Audacity and Cool Edit Pro. I hadn't the first clue about using faders and each track would basically just stay at 0.0 dB and my master mix would totally be clipping but I thought it sounded ok and kept getting better and better until I found this forum and really started to learn more. Kick myself in the nuts now.
http://soundclick.com/share?songid=5150908 Playing is uber embarrassing(and you could tell I gave up towards the end) as well as the mix. I only recorded the rhythm guitars btw, I got the background track from the meshuggah ftp.
