Jag Panzer have signed a new recording deal with SPV/Sony. They will be in the studio August 2010, recording new CD "Scourge Of The Light"

Great news! I saw this on their facebook page. They're also on Twitter.

Also, shouldn't this be on the front page of the website as the 'latest news'?

That's awesome news! I know SPV is a very good label with quality bands. This is a sign that we can expect a nice production and advertising package for the new album.

Bands like Annihilator, Kamelot and Iced Earth left SPV last year when they had that financial mess, I thought the label was pretty much a sinking ship but I guess not. I hope not! Virgin Steele signed with them a few days ago as well.

I can't even find the SPV homepage actually but JP is prominently featured in their (ugh) Myspace at http://www.myspace.com/spvmusic. I've also seen ads in magazines and the new album is available for preorder everywhere so take it easy. :)
