*falls to knees*
oh yeah on topic, poor John
i think his moustasche was probably one of the most ridiculous things known to man.
I completely agree. I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard the horrible news. Just like when J.F.K. bought it in Dallas. Weird how somethings are etched in your mind.
you were around for both? lol
he did them both in!
RIP threads usually get ignored on my part. I mean, it's kinda significant, but then everyone just wants to remember (or obsess about) their favorite bygone musician.
however.... Lennon was not just a musician or some guy who did some songs. He was so much more than anyone at the time could have guessed, and it is truly tragic that his potential was cut short.
what was he doing in 1980 anyway? i'm not trying to slight him in the least, i just don't know. i guess you could say i wasn't born for another five years.
he was in the middle of writing an album with yoko
^^while you were in your mothers womb NFU was listening to flasket brinnor
btw fuck yoko. that bitch sucks
he seemed to like her enough though?
I agree, Lennon was a good drummer... However I have not heard enough of The Who to really make any specific judgements.
RIP John Lennon
