I suggest going to Jaxx or the NYC show then. I suspect they won't be back in the U.S., and they're off until 2010 regardless...

People said they weren't coming back after the tour in 2004 or so.

People might have said that but now Chris says that himself.

I did an extensive 40 minutes long interview with him and believe me... he ain't coming back...

Unless they pretty much double in popularity or promoters start to give them amazing deals, they simply cannot afford to keep losing tons of money on North American tours. The shows they do stateside are already heavily stripped down from the Euro tours. Therion simply dosent work as a 4-5 piece live band, they need the other theatrical elements to really pull off their music the way it was meant to be heard.

it's a wonder why they dont try to have them open for Nightwish... I think if they were exposed to the Nightwish fanbase, it would do wonders for them in the states

I think the don't want to compromise their big production stage show, and therefore don't tour as openers for anyone. I might go see them soon, not a big fan, but if larf is saying it's cool then I might peep.
