Ok, so I was watching some old Metallica vids and thought I might try my hand at getting a Justice like tone. Well here it is...

Ignore the shitty drums and bass, they're just there to fill in the gaps.

Let me know what you guys think.

as msn says, i think it sounds close as fuck, just a little buzz in the guitar tone that kinda puts me off :\

But that could be due to shitty pickups and the like.

dude, that is soooo close it's not even funny. great job on that tone!!

EDIT: not to mention, this would be perfect for old school thrash stuff, like early Anthrax as well!

I think that you over-over-scooped it (because the Justice tone is over-scooped). Maybe a bit more mids and a bit less bass and you're there. What did you use?

Well isn't this confusing, I've been told I didn't scoop it enough before lol.

Very nice ! I just miss the super tight sounding palm mutes, maybe a tubescreamer will help you (if not already used).

Would like to hear Lasse giving it a shot with his Mark IV. That amp should get you close enough.

Justice Test 9 sounds really damn close. Very good job. I've always loved the Justice tone.

Sounds good - very digital though. If the drums were the same as the record it would sound very close....

Yeah, I used a TS, but I think part of it is coming from my shitty stock Epi pickups. I guess I better tell you guys what I used.

    TSS
    SoloC
    Boogex with Ryan's s-pres8 Impulse
A metric fuck ton of EQ :D

    And that's about it.
