From Blakkheim himself:
:zombie:Blakkheim used maybe 3 comma's and one period in that whole statement. Well...as far as the direction they are taking, I hope it's not identical to "Unfurl". I like that song but would rather hear them produce another Viva Emptiness type record.
Yes. VE is amazing
Maybe it will have growling.
That would be cool.
Aw.. I was just wondering last night when the next Katatonia album is coming out. Oh well.
I love The Great Cold Distance so much
TGCD is amazing, I'm sure the next one will be just as good if not better. I just hope they release something inbetween, 3 years is a wait for sure.
VA was a shit record. Totally shallow and directionless. TGCD was far superior, as were both TD and LFDGD before VA.
Fingers crossed, they pull out the goods, but I can't see growling coming back anytime soon. Blakkheim's style is black, and Jonas doesn't like growling anymore.
Let them take their time. The record will be good when they get their shit together
^ Hope you're right. Katatonia kick major ass.
They sure do. Just let them take some recreational time with Bloodbath and get to the serious stuff in 2009
I don't think anyone would complain there!
Bloodbath fullength and than a katatonia album. oh yeah
All we're missing now is Diabolical Masquerade
I don't know why you're all rattling on about "The Great Cold Distance", I thought it was utter shit. Sounds like nu metal to me, or flat-out Tool aping.
Tonight's Decision is fantastic. I didn't like it at first though. Viva Emptiness took about a year to grow on me and now it's my favorite Katatonia album atm. It is hardly shallow and directionless tbh.
I don't like this band for some reason.
It's because you play the tromboner
