The album is not as good as Disarm the Descent and the hype is much less than for that album since Jesse's return, but the album is still pretty good. There are some great choruses as usual. It's probably even a bit heavier than Disarm if anything and more brutal in places. I wish Jesse's screams were a bit toned down. He does tend to grate a little. The melodies are still pretty epic though. Take the lead single Hate By Design. It's basically a re-write of In Due Time but slightly inferior. Still a great song but not quite as good IMO. My fave song on the whole album is the blistering one below. That song is far too short and leaves me wanting more. A monster thrashy tune! If you enjoy KSE I'd give this a go but it's just more of the same as the last album but the inspiration was bigger on Jesse's comeback.

They're surprisingly consistent, you've got to give them that. Being able to pen 3-4 minute aggro metal tunes with radio choruses is an artform unto itself. They've truly mastered it.

Was never a huge fan, but the last two albums have been amazing. This really as been stealing a lot of plays from the new CIrcus Maximus.

These guys can do no wrong at this point. So far, this album is not as good as disarm the descent, but it is solid. To me its like Times of Grace part 3.

they churn out the same album every time, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing because they write some great riffs.
