Ever wonder what KK Downing has been up to lately? How about Ripper?

FORMER JUDAS PRIEST GUITARIST'S KK'S PRIEST RELEASE DEBUT SINGLE / VIDEO "HELLFIRE THUNDERBOLT"; COVER ARTWORK AND TRACKLIST FOR DEBUT ALBUM REVEALED

Downing: "We are delighted to finally be able to release our first track to the world. It gives a real flavour of the sound and showcases the amazing players I've got in this band. We can't wait for the fans to hear the record."

    KK's Priest - Hellfire

This is an excellent track & stands on its own right. However, check out a track called "I Can't Get Enough" from the Scorpions's Lovedrive album. I'm thinking this track from KK Priest was influenced by the Scorpions. No?

I'm so glad to see KK back in action. I love the track...hits me like a cross between classic Priest and old Accept. If the rest of the album has this same kind of energy, I'll be a happy dude.

Yes I agree! You can definitely hear the old KK with his sound & riffs in action. I love Ripper's vocals too. IMHO the two Judas Priest albums where Ripper was in were very much underrated. It will be interesting to see if the formation of KK's new band will reignite some interest in Demolition and Juglator.

I'm thinking KK & his band would be a perfect fit for our little festival. Can I have an Amen my brothers?

He couldn’t come up with a better band name then kk’s Priest? It sounds kinda corny.

    Upcoming?
It's been out for over a week and it's exactly what people expected, nothing spectacular
