I bought a korg X50 and i need sounds for play COB, i only found sounds for play nightwish and some leads but i cant find cool sounds for play bodom . someone using the same keyboard and have good sounds to play bodom could please help me get it????
You have to buy The Official Janne Signature Sound Card™, it's only 600-800 euros and you might get one even a little cheaper on eBay.
you could sell him yours, you're not in need of it anymore anyway after you started wth the triangle lately.
They pop up on ebay every week or so. I suggest you keep looking or go to your local music store and ask for one. Maybe they still have one available.
My brother bought one last Thursday. He got damn lucky because his sound card was one of the last that are in mint condition and also store owner said him that they don't manufacture the sound card anymore. I also suggest that you keep looking and I recommend that you look only from eBay. If you buy it secondhand, you might get it 50% cheaper than one in mint condition.
I'm a keyboard player and I'm going to buy Korg X50 and I wanna know that can I get the correct sounds from that synthesizer to play COB. I would like to play songs like Downfall, In Your Face, Angels Don't kill, Hate me, Everytime I die and all the other great songs from COB. Also I would like to know what are the sounds for those songs that I listed before
Janne uses a Korg X5D as a midi controller, his sounds come from a variety of modules, quite a few are from his roland xv-5050 (used to be a jv-2080), including his lead sound which is customised with that synth, and then put through a bigg muff distortion pedal. You wont find any of Janne's actual sounds on the X50, although you should be abe to create some that are quite close. I believe he also has an SRX-06 extension card for it or atleast some of the older cards it is made up of.
