KUMA'S FEST LINEUP ANNOUNCED - KONGH, SAMOTHRACE, JUNGLE ROT TO HEADLINE After months spent shrouded in mystery and uncertainty, the lineup for the inaugural Kuma's Fest has been finalized, and the running order has been set. Hosted by Chicago, IL's legendary heavy metal hamburger joint Kuma's Corner, the two-day festival will feature some of the best and brightest of Chi-town's potent metal scene, and marks Swedish dooom gods KONGH's first-ever US appearance. Kuma's Fest will be located at the Double Door (1572 Milwaukee St.) and set to occur on December 20-21st; tickets will be $15 for each day. That was the original idea, but I guess Alex decided to diversify a bit (probably based on which bands he got to actually confirm). There's enough doom/sludge/feedback worship present to keep me happy, though.
Thats awesome to see Samothrace on there. I went to high school with their bass player and they regularly play Lawrence.
